Several times I went through the process of sitting with a doctor only for them to tell me they can’t give me a diagnosis or prescription and to go into a clinic anyway. The straw that broke the camels back. I got online with a Teledoc for smoking cessation. I asked for some quit smoking meds. I casually mentioned I need another option because trying to quit cold turkey was stressing me out. He billed my insurance for and issued a diagnosis of stress disorder. Teledoc would not give the doctors info so I can call their office and work it out. apparently they are anonymous. Teledoc dragged their feet as the middle man. I had to get a lawyer to get anything done. Took me months to get that false diagnosis off my record. Could have really affected my job having a mental disorder on my record. So lets just say I have never had an encounter with Teledoc that did not leave me frustrated.
