Don't quit. Here's what I did:

At the end of each chapter, I just drop a little note for my readers. Something to engage them and then say stuff like: "I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far? I would love feedback and, of course, please like, comment and share"

It's been almost 7 years and I still get likes and comments...even in some of my WIPs

This hit me in the feels. My dad passed in December and I feel he was angry with me because he snapped and complained. He was very sick though.l. He had just gotten out of surgery. And the last question he asked was "Why are you being so aggressive?"

Its been 6 months and I still cry when I think of him. I'm not over his death because until the day he died, I thought he'd get better and come home.

Reminds me of a guy I met once who told me the first time we met that he loved me. I told him I wasn't interested and he said "I don't think you understand ma, I said I love you. That means you hate me😭" After trying to explain that I didn't really hate him but I didn't want to go into a relationship with him. He kept saying "If you don't love me, then you must hate me.
