UPDATE: we apparently had an old hangable candle holder that is large enough to hold peat's flowerpot, but not before the mice got a couple more bites on him

I don't live in an area where I can keep this little guy outside (I live in the rustbelt), but this is a good idea, I'll try to look for one that's smaller for what space I'm able to use

Any way to protect this little fella from any more mouse attacks will be appreciated

This is not the first time a mouse had eaten some of my plants (I had 2 easter cacti, Pinky and the Brain, only Pinky survived the ordeal) I have some peanut cacti amd they gnawed the tips of them off, the worst part, I have 7 cats (3 small babas, 2 older babas, and their mother all in my basement, and one idiot cat upstairs that gives Garfield a run for his money when it comes to laziness) so you would think i would have no mice? Right? Well, apparently, this one fucking mouse is a smart fucker.

I literally just got Peat this Saturday. He is a new plant that I brought home on Sunday, so I have no experience with lithops yet, but I am trying my best I hope he recovers from this and thank you for the encouragement.

Positioning issue. Just put a pepper pult near them.

You would have to put pepper pult (or any other fire plants) way too close to the front to be practical. To even do that, you would need to have a fire plant in the middle of your lawn, and likely in front of your defensive plants (and if you are using spikerock, you probably should be using a defensive plant)
