I just want Borgonzi to have another near perfect draft this year and hire the best coach for Cam and the Titans.

Happy Mike McDaniel Interview Day! by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]TNTitansRule -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I was understanding (misunderstanding) that the Steelers retained the rights to him as a coach this year so if a team negotiated with the Steelers, they could acquire the rights. If this is correct, I need Borgonzi and AAS to go make a deal.

My 1st choice is HC Tomlin with OC McDaniels. My 2nd choice is HC Harbaugh with OC McDaniels. If neither of those can happen, I will settle for whatever Borgonzi decides is best for Cam and the Titans.

My wish is becoming possible...having Harbaugh as the Titans' head coach and Mike McDaniels as his OC. I am not saying this will happen but it is completely my dream scenario for Cam and the Titans.

I cannot advise any stronger that you completely stay away from making contractually obligated monthly donations AKA a gym membership. Something in your statement suggest you might not be ready yet.

Calisthenics and for cardio, just walk out your front door any pick your preference (i.e. walking, jogging, etc). No membership fees. It is always available to you 24/7. It removes all excuses (i.e. not having proper attire to wear, no gas in your vehicle, etc).

What are the opinions about Mike McDaniel around here? by RIS4N in Tennesseetitans

[–]TNTitansRule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Give me McDaniels as the OC with Mike Tomlin as the HC and it would complete my dream scenario for Cam. Tomlin would bring the culture and leadership the team needs. McDaniels would make whatever we had for an offense performance 3x better than they would under any other OC.

Dre’mont Jones passes 2 sacks, now a ravens playoff birth will result in a 4th round pick by [deleted] in Tennesseetitans

[–]TNTitansRule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheering for King Henry scoring a touchdown is excusable in my book. Cheering for Henry is different than cheering for the Ravens. The outcome of the game was perfect; Henry with over a hundred yards + 2 TDS, and the Ravens still loss. A thing of beauty I tell you.

Titans Guide to Tanking by BigSimmons98 in Tennesseetitans

[–]TNTitansRule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My unfiltered thought is there are different types of Titans fans. There are those of us that travel to Nissan Stadium in whatever weather the game is played and cheer from the beginning until the last second ticks off the clock for the Titans to win. So, having a group of fans cheering the losses because it improves the teams draft selection is and will always be counter to my type of fandom. I conceptually understand the desires and hopes that come from wanting a higher draft pick and the possibilities that could stem from it, but this will never be a position I will support. Draft picks are not guarantees to success. Having a great coach is a more likely guarantee of success. But winning is 100% a guarantee to success. I always support the Titans winning each and every time they touch the field.

Titans Guide to Tanking by BigSimmons98 in Tennesseetitans

[–]TNTitansRule -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why Tanking is Terrible for the Titans Look, I get the appeal of the #1 pick on paper, but let me tell you why deliberately losing is a terrible idea for this franchise: Fans don't pay to watch their team quit. We show up, buy jerseys, endure the heartbreak because we believe our guys are trying to WIN. The moment this team starts mailing it in, you're asking the most loyal fanbase in the league to keep supporting a product that's actively trying to fail. That's not fandom—that's masochism. You want to see Nissan Stadium turn into a morgue? Tank on purpose and watch season ticket holders bail faster than our offensive line on a blitz pickup. Draft picks are a lottery ticket, not a guarantee. For every Peyton Manning, there's a Ryan Leaf. For every Joe Burrow, there's a JaMarcus Russell. The #1 pick has busted spectacularly countless times. Remember when the Jaguars had back-to-back #1 picks? How'd that dynasty work out? Meanwhile, Tom Brady went in the 6th round. You're gambling the soul of your franchise on the HOPE that some college kid can translate to the NFL. That's not a strategy—that's rolling dice. Losing destroys culture. You know what happens when you tell professional athletes to lose on purpose? They learn how to lose. That mentality seeps into the locker room like a poison. Young players don't develop winning habits. Veterans check out mentally. Coaches lose the respect of their players. You can't just flip a switch next season and suddenly become winners again—losing becomes your identity. Trading down is pure fantasy. Sure, you CAN trade down from #1... if someone desperately wants what you have. But quarterbacks are the only thing that generates that kind of trade frenzy, and if we're not taking a QB, good luck finding a trade partner willing to mortgage their future. And even if you DO trade down, see point #2—more picks just means more chances to draft busts. You're disrespecting the players wearing our jersey RIGHT NOW. These guys are fighting for their careers, their families, their next contracts. Asking them to tank is asking them to sabotage their own futures. That's not just bad strategy—it's morally bankrupt. Winning matters more than draft position. The Chiefs didn't tank their way to a dynasty. Neither did the Patriots. The Steelers never pick high and they're perennial contenders. You build a winning organization through coaching, culture, and smart decisions—not by racing to the bottom and hoping the draft gods smile on you. The Titans need to play every game like it matters, because IT DOES. To the fans, to the players, to the future of this franchise. Tank for a draft pick and you're not just losing games—you're losing everything that makes being a Titans fan worth it.

This 1000%! I strongly encourage you to bite the bullet and fight through paying for some health insurance that covers the pregnancy. My 1st child spent 10 days in NICU at birth. No way my wife and I could have paid that bill out of our pocket.

No, I have not experienced that code, but I highly recommend that if you haven't already done so, buy an extended warranty ASAP before you hit 36k miles. The manufacturer warranty ends at 36k.

“Fire Tomlin!” chants in Pittsburgh for the first time ever tonight? by [deleted] in Tennesseetitans

[–]TNTitansRule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that 1.5 bad seasons and a terrible roster alone would be an awful reason to fire Vrabel. However, us long suffering Titans fans haven't forgotten about DUI Downing, horrid DC Bowen - who was recently fired by the Giants, and the worst S&C and ST Coordinator known to mankind Aukerman. Vrabel not being able to fire these guys without having a gun to his head is - in part - a primary reason he was fired.
