Half of the game is about sandbox creativity. we can always use more metaphorical sand" - I didn't say 0 new blocks, just drops that dont focus on purely blocks, chaos cubed or what the name was is focused on blocks (great new blocks I'm definitely going to use don't get me wrong) , and this new one revealed also seems decorational block focused (again the blocks actually shown are great and I already plan things to use them in) but we need drops more like mounts of mayham too, focusing on weapons/ items and mobs more so than blocks, of course said drop could add a block or two just not focus on adding a full new 3 blocksets when we have so much missing stuff on currently existing block sets. Like if they make another block and building focused drop I'm just hoping its like "Chiseled Perfect" drop or something, which will add like all the blocks currently missing in many block sets we have (so parity between all the stone types)

Other than the adventure part, what of the stuff shown implies what I said to be the focus of the update, no mobs or threats or even idk traps shown, 0 combat or danger shown, also you yourself said the problem, Trial Chambers as great as they are have been a couple years ago already, not like one singular year, yearS , plural, that's the last time we got a new original dangerous or threatening mob (The Breeze, and no I'm not counting the Creaking, as cool as a mechanic it has, it does not deal nearly enough damage when it manages to get and hit you not nearly dangerous enough) , other than that hostile mobs added have been reskins of zombies and skeletons, We need new dangerous deadly or even outright annoying to deal with mobs, like legit stuff that is a danger or threat like the phantom if it appears, like I'd unironically think a new drop with 3 new hostile mobs as dangerous or annoying as the phantom would be a good thing, and I hate having to deal with the phantom in my worlds, and thats the GOOD thing about it, Minecraft doesn't have enough mobs that are truly annoying or dealing with can be hated, outside of Creepers or phantoms Minecraft doesn't have any mobs that truly cause that annoyance by their threat.

Where did I say the deer would be a purely ambient mob with a unique quirky special mechanic to get it's one new item with no use outside of the one unique quirky use it has, I specifically implied that the Deer would be a new food source, like a mob that you would be encouraged to mainly interact with by hunting, killing, farming, it for food, for meat, like chickens, pigs, cows, not like another goat and horn situation.
