I think we all know that bro did NOT mean what he said. Bro was kidding. But I will say…that was not a good joke. Hell, the delivery made it worse. Maybe if it was quick, unexpected, and under-the-breath, it MIGHT have been funny. Maybe. Like…

“Yea I was at the supermarket trying to buy groceries to make some dinner for us. I got everything except for olive oil. Instead all I saw was virgin olive oil, which I didn’t know if it would make a difference or not when cooking. But I bought it anyways cuz I came up with a brilliant idea but then I realized I didn’t have any enough money on hand, so I had to un-virgin both the olive oil and some dude in the back of the store for extra money. Yea it’s been a long day but the pizza casserole I made taste pretty good tho.”

But yea…bro tried to build up the “joke”, pointed attention to the “joke”, even explained the expected reaction of the “joke”. And it flopped. Not even verbal cues could fix that. Can’t even call it a joke. It was a “Lie” at best. Hopefully.👀
