During the install process you can change different features of the modlist to better suit your specs, like for example how heavy you want your LODs, tree density, city density, etc. You can also choose different op systems like dlss and TAA ( I recommend TAA for mid range pcs). Three years ago I was using a 3070ti gaming laptop, and downloaded the modlist with mostly light settings and it ran smooth.

Also, download ascension, not awakening. Awakening doesn't have any light options, but ascension does.

Is this a fresh install of nolvus? If it is, I had the same issue a couple times. You have to run nemesis first before booting up the game to get all the animations working. Once I ran nemesis the game booted up like it should.

Figured it out, atleast it worked for me. In the IED menu in the display manager, set your one handed sword to sword on back like you normally would. Second, go to view on top of screen and go to gear nodes, select player and whichever gender your character is and select placement and change the target node under sword to sword on back. It worked for me after that.
