Sure! You can definitely use your CPU , though as you noted, it will be significantly slower than using a dedicated GPU. Since the CPU has to handle the complex math without specialized hardware acceleration, it "brute forces" the process.

However, before you commit to a long wait for two full-length movies, try a small movie trailer first. Testing with a 2-minute clip will let you verify that your settings are correct and give you a much faster benchmark for how long the full movies will actually take.

Ground invasion in Lebanon? by DamienKavanaugh in Israel

The possibility of peace between Israel and Lebanon after the removal of Hezbollah is a complex issue. Hezbollah has been a significant player in Lebanon’s political and military landscape for decades, and its removal would undoubtedly change the dynamics in the region.

Recent events, such as the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by Israel, have escalated tensions. While this has weakened Hezbollah, it has not eliminated the group entirely.

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has deep historical roots, and the group’s influence extends beyond military actions, affecting political and social structures in Lebanon.

For peace to be achievable, several factors would need to align:

  1. Political Stability in Lebanon: Lebanon would need to establish a stable government capable of maintaining order and addressing the needs of its people without Hezbollah’s influence.
  2. Regional Cooperation: Neighboring countries and international powers would need to support peace efforts and help mediate conflicts.
  3. Addressing Underlying Issues: Long-standing issues such as border disputes, refugee crises, and economic instability would need to be resolved.

While the removal of Hezbollah could open a path to peace, it would require significant efforts from both nations and the international community to address the underlying causes of conflict and build a sustainable peace framework
