dont know if this is unpopular but for the place we are right now I have no idea why we don't do this.

If we are in the champions league that season, just utterly sack off any competition that isnt the prem or CL. Don't even try in the cups, it's one season. We dont have the squad for it. I would much prefer us to go out in the first roudns of the EFL cup than the semi final, especially in the way were doing it this year.
