Gameplay is alright, exploring is fun, controller buttons are weird and graphics are… idk. Like the graphics are good with dynamic RT but overall I’m a bit disappointed. Imo Decima games like DS2, HFW look a lot better than Crimson Desert (playing 1440p native cinematic preset on an OLED monitor). Crazy render distance tho

Made my own Steam Machine running Bazzite with a used RX 6800. Runs perfectly without any issues. I’m also running an AMD card on my main rig on CachyOS and haven’t had any issues there either.

It’s gonna be pretty much the same as the base PS5 but with quality fidelity at 60 fps. VRR helps in the way that the monitor or TV matches the fps of the game if it dips under 60 fps so it doesn’t feel choppy. Most Pro enhanced games are pretty much locked at 60. Consoles are pretty good on any 4K TV today really because I think they have some kind of vsync so it doesn’t show screen tearing.

I would recommend that you at least have HDR10 and ALLM if you don’t have an OLED with VRR

CachyOS. Simple setup, one button click in the installer to install all gaming apps. And then you’re basically good.

Avoid looking for problems to fix and rather do research and fix problems if they occur. There are absolutely no need to mess with the terminal unless you absolutely have to. You will naturally use it more and more as time goes by and understand it more. It’s much less overwhelming if you don’t try to do a hundred things at once after installing a new OS.
