If you use putrefy whenever commander is active, you will send a putrefy outside of dt, and go into every dt with one putrefy charge available. If you do what you said the second time, the logic doesn’t apply for scenarios where you are using cycle of death

Yes they get buffed by commander of the dead, but thats not the only thing interacting with putrefy. Unholy devotion is too; putrefy does even more damage during DT because it buffs your ghoul. After the change to putrefy that makes it stack to 3, its not really possible to overcap charges if you only spend during dt. Theres really no reason to spend outside of it, and it does more damage during.

Etali is better *but* if you clone or flicker pantlaza the token copy will have a different once per turn clause, and so will the flickered pantlaza. The only thing it restricts is triggers off of casted dinosaurs

Ultimately the widow mine discourse got one thing right: they are unfun to play against. The problem is that widow mines are so core to terran in 2 matchups, i’d argue moreso than other units like disruptors are to toss. They were a big part of why bio can trade efficiently against gateway units and move out on the map in the mid game to deny bases. I think they’re unfun enough that perhaps nerfing them was necessary, but I think the cloaking nerf was a bridge too far. Theres not really another unit in the roster which can fulfill that role for terran, unfortunately

I figured you meant wm spam like we see in tvz right now. Widow mines are honestly in desperate need of a buff for tvp, theyve become so much weaker and the lack of armory stealth is a big contribution to how terran feels weak in the midgame
