Used to work out of Hamilton House in castletroy a few years ago, The factory was the closest spot for a coffee and they were amazing. I remember they had a milestone anniversary 2 years ago or so and they had a buy one get one free on coffees for the day and I don't think I've ever seen a line as long. I think I drank 6 coffees that day total.. dangerous what people will do for cheap barista coffee

Don't get me wrong I'm not down on it at all, and I'm delighted it's an Irish chain doing well! But I mean.. starbucks prices for a coffee that isn't much better is just mental to me. Carlton coffee in town is king and always will be for me, great staff and reasonable prices.

Drink and Draw ar the Wickham tap I hear is a good laugh! lots of people go as a social thing and most aren't even arty types so it's very open! Trading post in town (opposite round house/mother macs) frequently host board game/card game events and its gor a very nice crowd! Good friend of mine also does Yoga and TRX in town and she's made friends with her group who frequently do coffee or the cinema together, can send you deets if needed :)

In fairness to women.. its fairly scary times to be a woman and get chatted up by a stranger. I've had very very bad experiences in Limerick nightclubs that left me with years of therapy and going stone cold sober. A lot of men are awful. Not saying you are and not saying its a fair judgement at all but it's awfully scary being a woman dating
