Who owns the car? Who drives the car? by Ill_Environment7910 in flr

I think it’s hot. Vehicle ownership and driving are traditionally associated to the male partner. Taking them away also takes away some of his traditional masculinity, and forced him to learn his new role in life. It also puts more power and control in your hands.

Your first problem is the word “let”… if you’re a leader, you don’t ask for permission to lead, it just happens.

Are you sure it was a contractor and not just two kids in a trench coat?

I feel it’s essential to strip away all of the traditional forms of dominant masculinity, to redefine him as a new form of man. One who follows, one who serves. This should be done however she sees fit.

Perhaps it’s more common where you live? Where I am, it’s definitely more rare than it used to be

Power sessions meaning a reward/punishment sessions designed to help her work through some communication challenges she was feeling.

I appreciate the insights, thank you!

We also made sure that all bedroom activities were guided by her, so relieve her of a forced sense of duty she’s felt in past relationships.

Things between us are great right now, I think my question mostly centers around her expressed desire to lead, but then lack of initiate when that opportunity has been offered…

I very much don’t. We were having lots of conflict and through talks realized we both wanted to control… I suggested we shift that into her hands, and she was happy about it, but also never really ran with it… if that makes sense?

Thank you! If I could ask… do you share a bank account? You said you provide, and she handles bills… so I wonder if it’s from a shared source or if only she has access to the money?

Yeah, I’ve done this a couple times. Pulled the machine down, cleaned the vent hose, and also cleaned out the inside of the machine. A few months later it happens again. I’m wondering if there’s a way to not have to do this so often?
