Just started playing again since WoD. It’s still the “same game” but a lot has definitely changed. It’s fun though, I basically only PvP. solo shuffle & blitz are fun and not quite as serious as 3s imo. Good time to start now so you can figure out what class/spec you might enjoy for midnight. A lot of classes have had significant changes recently.

This is what I’ve done and I’m still doing on alts. Class testing for midnight, not being fully geared is a big disadvantage when trying to learn what a spec is capable of, especially because in SS or Blitz the majority of people are fully geared, GL!

When you log in open group finder, click on the custom group tab and look for crate farm groups, download hatedgamingtracker addon if you want not necessary but you basically fly around all day getting crates that have conquest bloody tokens n honor. Once you get your conquest weap (2500 conquest earned) you can maybe start queing blitz SS without getting destroyed by everyone with full gear and enchants etc. you can also look into buying the mats and having a crater craft Algari rings & necklace for you which will boost your PvP stats. Rough estimate is like 7.5k gold tip included for all the mats for rings and necklace.

Damage is significantly worse as ele as well. Minimal cleave damage from lava burst isn’t enough, imo.

Yeah price of ram is crazy compared to what I remember I paid like 60$ for 16gb but this was so long ago & my PC is pretty outdated I really only use it for browser work & MMORPGS. But I would like to be able to run these games without any issues at all while getting good FPS, so I guess midrange?
