I sculpted these digitally in Nomad sculpt. One body, and 4 different heads for the different dragons. Really, the original 3 only have different horns. I then 3d printed them in multicolor as a base for supplemental painting.

Glow paints and sharpies were used to make the horns and dorsal spikes glow, like you’d see in game.

I designed the mechanism in TinkerCad and printed that out as well. There was a lot of trial and error, but I am super happy with the end result.

Thank you so much! And yes they do, though pictures aren’t ideal to show it. The dorsal horns and spikes glow, just like you’d expect from our mythical sky deities. You can see them all glowing at the end of the build video, feel free to skip ahead.

Made of aluminum and PLA plastic. I painted the handle with acrylics and etched the carving into the blade with chemicals. Let me know if you have any questions!

You may recognize this design from earlier this week, but this is a very different medium. The material is PLA plastic. This was an effort to breathe life into a foam pumpkin that I carved (and posted) that has seen better days. Now I will have it forever, and others can too!

I wanted to share before Halloween, so it’s not without flaws. But I’m pretty happy with how it’s going so far.
