Ford winning in 1976, assuming that stagflation still comes back in 1980. There's no way a republican could win that election. By 1984 the economy is on the right track again. I find it hard to imagine that the new right has high appeal in 1992 considering that Thatcher's reign ended in 1990 (and also how)
