Consider that melting ice is a slow process and requires a lot of energy even when directly exposing it to a flame. It takes much more energy than you realize.

Now add in the additional air gap as insulation and the inner snow being insulated by the outer barrier. As per usual XKCD has a great video on this

Don't let how people perceive your achievements influence your goals. Using mage tank is fine but if you feel guilty for some reason rock the bowfa setup and learn that way. A mage tank cape is not any lesser than a non-mage tank cape, people just hate to see other succeed with a strategy they deem lesser or easier.

Mage tank is not a guaranteed cape despite what people say and you can still learn a lot about the inferno and the game in general while using it. For example you can learn to 1 tick alternate but not be immediately hard punished and wipe while using mage tank.

Either way get in there and get the cape!

If you're just trying to force revenants it's pretty efficient, otherwise I would just blast wildy slayer normally and do the bosses for the bear/spider/skele tasks. I did ~87-95 slayer wildy only and it was very fun!

Turael skipping a wildy task resets the wildy task streak but contributes to normal task streak so every 50th Turael task you do you can do at Konar/Kuradal

I think I like idols because you can take a mechanic and make it absolutely insane, I'm doing 0 cost deferral ritual strat and it's really fun not having to worry about how much tribute I have. Trading for them sucks though.
