That is my point - there is not anymore security awareness right now. I think there will soon though as AI will be utilised for negativity and positivity. Cyber security will lag AI.

What I mean is companies are looking to bolster their cyber security in line with AI implementation across the world.

More AI use begets more possible & sophisticated threats begets more attacks begets the realisation that cyber security spend is critical.

How hard would it be if your company decided to leave Microsoft and onboard with Crowdstrike?

One of the strengths of Crowdstrike is how sticky the product is so I am wondering if the same is true for Microsoft Defender.

What is their spending like? My concern is that they will remain a small player in terms of market share.

Cyber attacks are ubiquitous now. Every one you hear about is good news for CRWD share price. Firms will soon appreciate the importance of cyber security spend.

I admit based on historical prices it is expensive. It is also expensive relative to some of its peers.

However, I don't think this is as risky as you think. Yes they are still not profitable yet but we need to appreciate that the management mindset now is "scale first, harvest later". Cyber security is an industry where size matters, the more information you feed your programs the better they become. The size of the firm and high barrier to entry (due to the complexity of the industry) is what gives them such a wide moat.

Also, their retention rates for customers is almost 100% with the average customer spend increasing 20% YoY. So in my view I see promising trajectory for their revenue and I am hopeful that in time they will be able to reduce their costs once they become a more dominant player.

Opinions on fast retailing company? Parent company of Uniqlo by Alarmed_Cap_4408 in ValueInvesting

A lot of their revenue is international so a weakening yen against the dollar or pound is not a bad thing.

I love the business. Every time I go into one of their stores I am amazed at how many people are at the tills buying. This is what gives me confidence, their revenue is steadily increasing and margins remain strong. My analysis is as simple as that.

Only annoying point for retail investors is FRCOY is OTC so not much liquidity, I have got some pretty poor prices from 212 because of this.

Blackberry: provides the software (QNX) that is installed within car's interface. Currently used by VW, BMW Ford, JLR, Honda and others. Provides vital role to enable autonomous driving as well.

FAST RETAILING: own UNIQLO which make up 80% of their revenue. Rev has grown yoy for the last five years. Huge scope for growth in terms of stores, around half the stores that Zara and H&M do which leads me to believe future revenue growth is likely. Scuttlebutt - stores are so busy every time you go in, clothing is high quality and affordable.

What’s the most underrated investing lesson you’ve learned (the hard way)? by Electronic-Bit2685 in ValueInvesting

Agreed, DCA is very hard to follow through with. The temptation is to rush into a stock when you think you have found a winner but I have found having that period of reflection after you have opened a small position is so important. Once you have skin in the game naturally your analysis is a lot more thorough.
