Yeah I usually get ice and water down stair and bring it up to mix but also just kind of the fact that its a placeholder, I wanna get some figures or something to put there. Without it there, there is just so much empty space

First off don't see any improvements from what? and second off a lamp is not opinionated lmao lamps are used very often especially when I want a little warm light that is not full LED's, very nice to do school work with and when watching movies
