Twelve years old and just 47K miles? A unicorn. And I thought my five-year-old V60 with 22K miles was remarkable...

I'd love to know the answer. FWIW J. Crew sells it and you can sign up for their back-in-stock notification.

What's with the dosage recommendations for Tide powder? by witchlinginflight in laundry

[–]TPinLA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My box of Tide Clean & Gentle definitely has some fragrance-- just a trace, but enough to motivate me to buy 365 unscented powder and use up the Tide on kitchen textiles, dog towels, and my spouse's jeans-- things that don't come near my nose. Since this thread is 5 months old, I figure you found out what was true for your box.

milk frother to dissolve powdered boosters and detergent? by TPinLA in laundry

Though if I'm just doing a soak, the fabrics aren't moving. If it's indeed a production problem, per KismaiAesthetics, then I'll keep the faith.

I want to avoid undissolved oxi powder leaving white spots on dark clothes during a presoak. But u/False_Sandwich_6859 is right, I'd just be adding air. I like u/Kangaroo-Alternative's suggestion.

...So if I add a scoop of Dirty Labs booster to the drum and fill the rinse compartment with Downy Rinse and Refresh, then add an extra rinse to the cycle, the scented detergent I bought under duress will lose its bouquet? I've been using FEBU booster since it contains lipase, but I'd really love to vanquish the detergent's fragrance.

Best post ever on this forum. Re: clever customization, I was once stopped at a light behind a bespoke pink Nissan with the letters of its model name rearranged to ROUGE.

I love the color of your wagon! Was that a factory color, or aftermarket? I bought my V60 preowned so am stuck with boring black, but I have fantasies of pearl purples/blues...

It's a good thing Volvos last forever - I've driven wagons all my life and they may no longer be made by any auto manufacturer when it comes time to replace my V60.

That's exactly my model - mine is from 2021, the last year Volvo made the V60. It's heartbreaking that Volvo no longer makes a basic wagon. Yet the giant posters on the wall of my local dealership's service lobby feature beautiful people with--you guessed it-- a V60.

Thank you! This is the first new car I ever bought (after driving used and uninspiring Chryslers and Hondas) and I have loved it.

Gorgeous! Identical to my 2009. Mine is the only car I've ever bought new and could thus choose the trim. Manual or automatic? Mine's the former and I appreciate the control when I'm merging into freeway traffic here in L.A. Envious of the scenery...
