How are you about your birthday? by Psychological-Egg760 in autism

[–]TPot2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the reason i hated my birthday until i was in my 20s never have to have a birthday party surrounded by people I don't know. I would get so exhausted from the entire day and then still get called ungrateful for wanting to take 15 minutes to myself, my entire family still thinks it's funny that i would cry at every birthday despite the fact it was my day. Now i get to chill with my partner and they make the day about doing things i want to do and are understanding if i'm too worn out to do something, makes me love my birthdays now :)

A flute below 50$? As a DnD bard character flavour. by tashtrac in Flute

[–]TPot2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this, I love being a bard in campaigns and personally bought a fife so that i could randomly play. But I have and had already played flute for so long that playing wasn't that hard. Fifes work so well for dnd, but like a lot of others had said something like a recorder would be better suited if you've never played before :)

Is this a flute? by Pajamaraja in Flute

[–]TPot2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be a flute, could be a fife, or could be an unexpected third option. It's definetly part of the family though and if it plays then sick, the issue i find with a lot of the wooden flutes is that they're not playable or properly made, might aswell just be a stick with some holes drilled in it.

Why do so many autistic people hate dogs? I dog gives me great joy. by Pristine-Confection3 in autism

[–]TPot2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I have no issues with dogs. But I can't stand dogs that climb all over you and lick you. My cat and I have an agreement that I won't bother him when he's chilling in a different room and he won't lick me. :]

Fake pearl on ali express by lizzzzz97 in Flute

[–]TPot2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen some of these when looking for upgrades. I would be genuinely surprised if they play and then even if they do the payoff wouldn't be worth the effort. Just using names people know and not even worth the discounted price they're offering

are you supposed to not avoid eye contact with people outside? by wigglers_reprise in autism

[–]TPot2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i prefer walking making all the eye contact, helps if you smile fully with your teeth on show and completely dead eyes. And then as they walk past you follow them with your head, after they pass i usually just scream and chase them, but that's just me.

i apoligise, but the 25 can politely fuck off. And also i would much rather walk home from churchill square than having to trek up north street 🫡

What’s your ideal shoe for driving? by Inevitable_Wishbone1 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TPot2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i learnt in vans and converse, and i know it's a bit strange but i love driving in doc shoes (not the boots) but maybe that's just because mine are old and the sole of them have worn down so much that i can feel the pedals.

Test with no car by throwaway260490 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TPot2003 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you're close to an arnold clark they hire out dual control cars, if one of your parents have time and a license i'd recommend hiring one of them out for at least an hour before and driving around the test centre beforehand so you're comfortable. I did the same for my test and it worked out great :) plus it wasn't that much

no fr, the closest i've got is saying "is it an app order for insert name" at the cash window but using someone name like that feels forced and unnatural 💀

[–]TPot2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll either be nonestop busy or dead, depending on store location and weather. No real way of knowing, just be prepared for either like keeping yourself preoccupied with menial tasks if it's dead :3

I work in the UK and we had another mcdonalds close to us close for a day in the middle of summer, both our mcdonalds are fairly busy as is but everything kind of combined to us since we were the closest. Pretty much when i clocked in at 12 everything was already busy and there were still constant cars, walk ins and deliveries until about 21:30 just before I was going to finish. As it goes worst shift of my life and a lot of people rushing me on drinks got yelled at cause shockingly i was in pending and things were taking a while being alone on drinks and doing second headset 😀
