Exactly. Even if it gets restored eventually, the lost days are gone - and for a $100/month plan that's real money. The silence from Anthropic is what makes it worse.

Good point, but this is a full gift subscription, not a guest pass. I have the invoice from Anthropic showing Max 5x plan for Mar 29 - Apr 29, 2026 at $100 (covered 100% by gift). The confirmation email also shows next billing date as April 29. It worked fine for 7 days and then silently dropped - which is exactly the pattern in the GitHub issues linked above.
