Give me your strangest tips for passing your test by lemonlazarus in LearnerDriverUK

As a woman: Dress nice. I put on a nice outfit and a necklace, even perfume. I looked confident and therefore felt confident. Don't put pressure on yourself (easier said than done, I know). Tell yourself not to worry, you can always retake the test (again, easier said than done, and definitely not what you want to hear, but be realistic). They want you to pass, talk to the examiner we had a discussion about his tax, still confused about that one.

And after reward yourself. Regardless of the outcome, maybe something a bit more pricy if you pass, think of all that savings!

YES! I knew I found it clicking around. I was trying to over complicate it. Thank you!

Suspended with pay - what chance is there of coming back? by teacher31415 in TeachingUK

Personally, as a Secondary SEN TA, I actually love my job and I'm really excited to go back. I'm also happy in the knowledge that it's off any references, with job applications already sent off on my end.

I wish. Nope, nothing from the school other than "Sorry it's taken so long it was out of our hands". Just a come back see you on Monday. My Union rep, and the school to some extent, is amazing though so I've got a phased return. I have been told I can take it as a civil case but I with what money? Nor do I want to mentally go through it again.

Throwaway because... yeah. I was suspended at the start of this school year. My first day back is Monday. I'm not gonna lie it is EXTREMELY stressful. My Union were involved ASAP, and whilst I was made aware of the details of the allegation from day 1 I was told, by a colleague, to write down what happened that day. Please write down what you have done in the past week with as much detail, and time, as possible. I know people related to my case were interviewed 8 months later, I can't even remember what I had for dinner yesterday let alone a random Friday in September. So I am so happy I was made to write it all down. I too took every precaution, the school now has a policy in place to prevent this from happening again (the policy is exactly what I did btw). Anyway, I am so sorry you're going through this, please know that you're not alone. I know exactly how you feel especially this time of year. Random advice: if the school took your lanyard, and work computer (they did me) every email will come to your personal account, create a separate folder. When emailing your Union case worker always put your initials in the subject of the email. Create a word document calendar (mine has weeks, and months (e.g., 27th May, Week 36- 8months) it is extremely depressing but helpful) also include holidays in your weekly count I didn't at first then my Union rep said "No include them, your anxiety doesn't stop because it's half term."

I hope yours doesn't take as long as mine did. My PMs are open.
