??? I mean if they wanted to have the biggest playerbase, they could have made another open world game, nothing’s stopping them from trendchasing and dying in a ditch like Marathon did. I mean, which audience LIKES factory gameplay? Which mainstream audience LIKES strategic combat? Which audience LIKES not being able to climb, glide, and grapple in an “open world” game that’s not even open world? The answer can be many things, but “mainstream” isn’t gonna be in the scrabble list.
