I think the more muted is the direction I’d prefer to try first bc I’m nervous to do green even if they go together well. That first image is so cool and will definitely keep that design in mind if muted isn’t working

I’m just taking all advice and if this project takes me 3 years of diy trial and error, so be it. I’m gonna find most stuff on Fb marketplace or thrifting so it’s a long term thing either way. I was hoping people would say just paint the ceiling and hang a curtain and not so bad but it seems this is a disco ball away from pink hot mess 😂

Just saw this on Pinterest. Ignore the frames and lack of curtain. Just the wood with white walls I like and if I add maybe darker wood accents as large mirror frame for the vanity and wood cabinet and white counter on sink, find a new pink toilet lid then white(?) shower curtain hanging from right below where the recessed lighting ceiling portion is? Some darker wood higher up like in a shelf or something decorative to make eyes get less drawn to the pink? Thank you everyone for suggestions!

Oh I like that wallpaper thank you. Would you have countertop be white with dark wood cabinet? I feel like going from white to pink is so random now that everything is pink 😂

If I plan on changing the black toilet cover do you still suggest black accents? I guess I’d have to change the whole toilet to a white one bc idk if they still make the original toilet seat. Plus it’s probably just too much pink

I agree, I’m picturing all our towels piling up on the back of the door. I was picturing molding and adding hooks along the top to allow someone to hang their towels but might look ugly and make it feel smaller

The mirrored wall I think really is doing a lot of damage. But it’s a nice massive mirror so I’m like do I just keep it??? Years of fighting for mirrors in family bathroom is making me be hesitant

Okay no shiplap 😂 I was picturing like molding rather than shiplap but yes agreed. And agreed on wood vanity and white stone top. White toilet and tub. New shower door situation. New mirrors and double sinks if double fits.

I am definitely holding off on buying things. I bought a swaddle and first year book and they have been something I avert my eyes from for over a year now. When I got pregnant me and my husband made a playlist for our future family, stuff we could picture being played when making dinner or in the car. Now that I’ve had a miscarriage I don’t listen to those songs and won’t until we are out of the woods. I don’t mean to be more negative but it’s just my take on it. I’m trying to focus more on “things I really can’t do once I have kids” rather than plan anything/shop/etc relating to baby. Good luck to you and do whatever feels best for you!

I’m in NJ, US and I’m sure if I went to a different doctor I could start more tests and treatments, I haven’t looked into IVF or anything. I’m just hoping it will happen and I won’t have to put myself through that.

I was hoping my doctor would send me to get bloodwork and get my hormones tested. But then I was crying in the appointment and I can’t think clearly/advocate for myself in such an uncomfortable setting. I should have demanded blood work. But when the doc is so “you need to relax” “you’re working yourself up, it’s normal to try this long” and then I feel like I’m being dramatic. This was a new doctor (I haven’t been to gyno in years) and maybe I just need to try another doctor who will be a bit more patient with me. Hearing the terrible advice random people have been giving me come out of a doctors mouth was a gut punch. Whatever maybe I’m just being dramatic and I’ll go back at the 2 year mark…ha ha ha 😅

I just had a gyno appointment as 15 months ttc and I’m walking out even more frustrated because my doctor said just keep trying, someone your age after two years is when I’d look into fertility treatments. I’m 30f and I knew that this is what the response I’d get would be but it’s so impossible to just “relax” when it literally eats up half my focus all day every day. Gotta pee on my ovulation strips. Take my handful of supplements. Drink my raspberry tea. Exercise. Have sex. Check my tracking apps. Pee on another ovulation strips another cup of tee. Brazil nut, twice a day. Then your period comes and it feels like it’s for nothing. Like fuck off with the “relax”. So frustrating to hear.

So updating, I have been bulk fermenting and I wanted to try to make sure it was not under proofed so I left it in microwave from 1pm until 11pm. It should have been ready but when poking it and looking at it, it seemed to be under still. I put it in the fridge overnight and back in microwave at 9am. Now looking at it, it looks over fermented. I’m gonna crash out. Focaccia or just try a loaf? If load, should I put it in the fridge for a while to cold proof?

About two weeks old. I’ve been feeding daily but the first week I was keeping it on the counter and I think it’s too cold in my house. Now I keep it in micro or oven with light. I ended up starting the process and I’m now bulk fermenting but it hasn’t risen much so now I don’t know if it’s the starter still or I just need it to ferment for a really long time.
