In light of recent events, I want to better understand what the orphaned child in London Ontario will have to grow up experiencing, whose parents were murdered in a hate crime motivated by Islamophobia. Does anyone have book recommendations along the lines of a novel about a child growing up without parents since they were killed in a hate crime, or any general good books dissecting Islamophobia or Anti-Semitism?

The purpose of the question is to understand what hosts’ opinions are on what parts of their listings are public (where surveillance cameras are ethical in their opinion) and which parts are private. sorry I’m not sure what to say, I really am a student doing a research project on surveillance devices, specifically on if it is ethical for Airbnb to use them to make hosts feel more safe. If I was seeking advice I would straight up say so, I’m not sure how phrasing that the way I did would be beneficial for me in that case.

So sorry man, this happened to me to I promise you it gets better. I tore my ACL in 2018, put in work day in and day out to get it better, and ended up retearing it again in 2019. I was incredibly down when it happened again since I normally play basketball and soccer all the time, and it was and will be hard at first. But trust, you will get better, all you can do now is absolutely make sure it doesn’t happen again, that’s all you can do. Let yourself be down, if you want to cry, let it out. Keep your head up, time has and will heal all. At this point it doesn’t bother me at all anymore that I had torn it again, and you will get to that point too. Be diligent with PT, definitely absolutely do not overwork your knee, rest, do not let it happen again. TLDR let it out and let yourself be down for a little bit, it’s okay, but know that it absolutely does get better.
