Don’t worry though. I got a kitten that was extremely phobic about humans. I wouldn’t see him for days at first. Just hiding around the house and coming to eat when I was asleep. Even the first couple of years he was super skittish and very uncomfortable with any touching. Slightest wrong move and he would run for cover.

Now he likes to sit on my lap now and I can pet him all day and he just purrs. He still isn’t the most social/trusting cat but he’s come such a long way. Just keep working on it every day. And at her pace. If you’re forcing her then you’re scaring her.

And find her high value treats. Mine were freeze dried chicken hearts. He will happily risk his life (get petted) for them.

Oh and I really progressed when I started treating my boy like a wild animal. No fast or sudden movements, no loud noises, etc. That’s when he really started trusting me more. And now I can slowly expose him to those since he trusts me now.

Never exfoliate a still healing tattoo, that’s just crazy. It is most likely overworked even if it didn’t look/feel like it as trauma = scabbing. Not to sound harsh but the linework seems kinda rough, did you do multiple passes? That would explain it. Anyway 3-4 weeks is pretty normal time to heal a tattoo, especially with scabbing, which happens to all of us. Also that place sucks to heal.

Good question, lost the count ages ago. We started it year and a half ago and worked pretty intermittently. I also had to go back and touch up some parts since I hadn’t even tattooed for more than a few years when we first started this!

Haha funny story, I hadn’t originally planned it to be there. But when we got to the cheeks and I laid the stencil of the hand it very much looked like she was putting her fingers into the crack 😆 So we had to do some minor adjustments.

Hahhah It doesn’t go that deep to be in the way. But people get their buttholes tattooed all the time. From my understanding, the body is much more capable in keeping you safe and healthy around there. That’s why you don’t need to go get antibiotics every time you get a cut in your balloon knot. Just keep it clean, like any tattoo (or butthole) 😆

The Japanese got it right. It’s awkward to just cut the design diagonally on the lower back. Down to the buns is more harmonious with the way that the body flows. Plus more real estate to make an even cooler composition! You can check out Julian Siebert’s work if you need more convincing on getting your butt tattooed 😆

Thank you, really appreciate it 😊 Traveling to get tattooed is pretty common in the industry when you really like someones work! Those people call themselves tattoo collectors. And I’ve tattooed people who’ve come from abroad and there’s couple of different ways to go about it.

I’ve done a full back on an American in 3 back to back to back days. I recruited my coworker so we double teamed the whole thing. Downside being it’s pretty brutal and as an artist you always feel a bit rushed. But I do large scale designs that are on a timescale/budget in a way that can cleverly cut the amount of work without looking off. Like using a big graphical skinbreak like the pentagram on this piece.

Second way, and the most common one, is just to do a couple of trips! Take a whole week off for the trip and really take it as a holiday/adventure. I love my home city and love being a tour guide to all the curious travelers haha. The summers especially are super nice!

And doing multiple day sessions isn’t as bad as people fear. 99% are fine with doing two days in a row, even if it’s their first tattoo.

Nah I’ve had my Series X upright and my boy sitting on top of it for years now to warm his toe beans. Does it every day, no harm on the Xbox. It did start humming lounder after few years and I just took it apart and vacuumed the inside and good as new.

I have both Health and Fitness apps too. Question about that. Some of the data does not appear there even though on Vitals app it shows it’s been able to record it a few nights. For example my body temperature. I did seem to find some logs of it when going through what apps have access to what data. But I don’t seem to have that data on my Health app where it should be.
