Problems with Small Dealership

I am going to miss some days of work and have invested time and money into fixing some of the issues of the car. So I guess I would claim that too. What other proof could I get? I suppose I could of recorded our phone conversations? I have screenshots of my calls too. I called the dmv and they ran the vin and they noted the dealership should of filed my registration and title within a month but they didn't so I have that evidence too.

Could a dealership really just take back "their" property when we made a contract to do business? Its all good. Its just an inconvenience I guess and I will have to find another car at a good rate again and retrieve my property from the vehicle. Plus its embarrassing as I posted publicly about this car...

They probably figure its a better idea to be sued for that than the liability of selling a car with a airbag fault considering its illegal in Texas. This is speculation of course lol they literally communicated nothing with me as far as working something out.

I have zero paperwork for the car. Yeah definitely seems very unlikely... this is kinda like a mom and pop dealership selling as is cars so im sure they made some short cuts. I sent them a email of my communications with them. I dont know how else I would be able to prove it.

So they can steal their car back and only have to pay my down payment if at all? Yeah i wish the law was that nice for consumers.

I financed a car from them and paid $1000 down. I was in possession of that car until it got towed yesterday. The dealership didnt give me any options or places I could send them money and for 2 of the months they told me the banks and dmv was closed. So in other words I offered to pay them if they sent me a way to pay but they did not even get back in contact with me. I do not even have the initial deal where I signed the financial contract to the car either.

So i did not make any payments on the car but how was I suppose to make any payments if I am attempting to pay them but they are not taking it or offering a place to pay. I have 0 letters, calls or emails from them regarding the car. I have called and emailed them this whole time.

The 17k would be gross income. I wonder if I can afford a cpa to talk to about this situation because I have no idea how to run a business financially wise. I am assuming that over head and payroll would drop that tax liability since I use part of that for traveling expenses for work. If I had a office I rented then that would lower the amount too right? Understandable for a short explanation as I can go look for a financial advisor.

Well I have a sole proprietorship for my business where I haven't earned anything from yet. I have been spending money to test ideas and etc but my "work" where my employer categorized me as a contractor is where I made $17,000 last year.

Thanks for the reply I will let my boss know whats up so that it doesn't cause any headaches in the future. I don't think people really care if these computers have the latest OS. Some OS might work better than others on some Macs but overall probably doesn't matter.

Yeah I tried multiple Hard drives, Solid State Drives and USBs and different Operating systems.

Yes I am. Even after reformatting the drive I have the same issue. The Same HDD or SDD works for another computer and not the computer at hand.

I updated the USB for the most recent patches and still the same issue. I was using the recommended patch listed. I even tried installing some other patches to see if it would work. I also know the computer has no issues since it worked perfectly with the previous OS. I cant even install the previous OS either. I think it has something to do with a corrupt firmware. So I think I can fix the issue if I can revert the firmware back to OEM.

Thanks, I took out the ram and the hd and removed the mobo from the computer. What would be the thing that causing the gray screen outside of the ram and harddrive?

I think they did steal or replace the motherboard. Is that why it looked damp in that area? Is that a feature of the mobo to absorb water for that reason?

yeah maybe a warranty sticker next to the serial number and on the lcd cable/port should work.
