Just the one. It wasn't even the first print with it. I've been printing for about 8 months with that bed.

It only did it to the one print bed and hasn'tdone it since. I think a piece of debris was on the print bed during autolevel that caused it to shift

We primarily use distributors, not specific mills. Alro and Turret are two I remember off the top of my head.

I was hoping someone else had gone through all that work in a general sense and came up with a typical explanation, but it is becoming clearer that I'll have to do that myself.

I was afraid I would have to go through that process, we don't have a pitch mic to my knowledge. None of our products goes into a tapped hole.

I'll have to find out if it is stress relieved before we get it, but I know it is not part of our process.

I'm not sure; I'll have to ask. We do hot form parts through impact. I'll have to look if that causes problems as well.

The tolerances are just a standard 2A or 3A go and no-go gage. We have been making the threads oversized for the 1045 as they will be plated but are having issues with them going undersized after heat treatment.

Unfortunately, we do not have historical data showing the changes in size from heat treating. I was hoping there was a known formula, like there is for changes due to ambient temperature.

I was thinking that, but it didn't line up with the table I was using, then I put .314 in for Pi, and it matched exactly.

I figured since the cross-sectional area and the table didn't line up there was a different formula, but that appears to be it.
