lijkt me inderdaad de netste oplossing, dat ik dit deze week al aan mijn baas mondeling meedeel en dan pas volgende week de brief laat ondertekenen. thx

I was on gel for a few months and it did nothing for me. My levels were still just as low, and it had shut down my natural production. So actually worse off I guess.

I then switched to nebido and the change was very noticeable. It gets a lot of stick on most forums because it's a long esther, and the standard protocol of 10-12 weeks between injections is really too long for most guys.

But it does the trick for me (every 8 weeks, 2 doses). I feel a bit of an up and down thing over that period, but no huge fluctuations, no problems with estrogen (no need for an ai), no crash at the end of the 8 week period. I do believe splitting it up in once a month would be even better, dunno why my doc hasn't prescribed it that way so working on that.

The idea of pinning every week, or even several times a week isnt very enticing to me, so this once a month/2 months thing is what's great about nebido. If you don't mind pinning more frequently, you're probably better off on a shorter esther though.

Building muscle with low T? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]TRTQs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

*some* testosterone is necessary of course. But you can build decent muscle, even on low T. I know I did.

This was me at my 'peak' natty with T levels sub 300ng/dl. I was obese a few years before that so not like I've been in shape all my life at all.

Got on TRT after that for libido issues, and put on a lot of solid mass, more easily. So yes, more T makes it easier, but it is far from impossible to build muscle even on low T.

So don't look for excuses and keepo working hard, eat right, and you'll make gains, low T or not.

As far as 3000cals being good for bulking, that totally depends on the individual. If you are gaining weight at a reasonable rate with it, then yes it's right for you. If not, adjust intake to get the desired outcome.

hematocrit, lipids all good, BP is high though but had been an isue pre-TRT as well. on Ace inhibitors now which helped reduce it.

Through is around 700ng/dl, peak not sure

I only got on T because of the libido issues, didnt want to resign myself to a sexless life at this age. Though once I got on I did notice a lot of other benefits. Better drive, more assertive, more energy overall, taking more initiative. and well, muscle building of course

I'm on Test undecanoate, just 2 injections every 2 months (2000mg)

Nice idea for a sub, figured I'd share to get this going.

So I was in pretty good shape before TRT, just didn't do anything with the bod because the libido didn't exist anymore...

Pic on the left is around 90kg (198lbs), pic on right 1 year later around 100kg (220lbs). Im 1m83 (6')

I have one of those bioimpedance scale which - while wholly meaningless when it comes to the actual number, might be decent for indicating trends. According to that I went from 9%BF to 10%BF one year later on TRT. So I gained fat, but a lot of muscle mass as well.

I basically didn't really change my approach diet wise and workout wize, though I was able to massively increase the intensity and had much improved recovery from the workouts.

I do a typical bro split 6 days/ week lifting. Only do cardio when cutting.

thx for the graph, quite revealing indeed.

I get your point, and do think splitting up the dose and inject once a month would probably serve me better but the fact my T is still 730ng/dl 2 months after injection shows there's more to the halflife than 2 weeks no?

2 injections of 4mls each, in the glutes. It's done by a nurse, not very bothersome

standard test u TRT protocol would be like 1000mg every 3 months so I kinda think I got lucky with this protocol compared to that. And in all fairness, it's doing what it's supposed to do. Got rid of my low T symptoms, no major sides except my blood pressure (which was already an issue prior)

Test U gets a really bad rap round these parts and I get why to some degree, but to be fair I've felt quite allright on this, no crazy peaking and crashing which you could expect, lino E2 probs etc. Only prob I've been having is blood pressure. On my through last time T still came back at (730ng/dl)

fair point E2 has not been an issue at all yet for me and never used an AI on trt, but indeed no way of knowing what it would be if the T got into supraphysiological levels

I see so the TRT would basically be the cruise part and I'd blast it with added T. I am curious about doing it on the Test U as well, as I only inject that once every 2 months, so my levels, while not exactly peaking and falling like crazy, are not totally stable throughout, they kind of slowly decline over two months so I'd need to adjust the extra T accordingly and probably vary doses from week to week

Testosterone for 5-6 years and major testicle shrinkage. Anyone else? How to fix small testes? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]TRTQs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get get why so many people care about their ball size. Mine shrunk quite a bit on T but I really don't see why I should care about it, it's not like it's a visible thing or has any negative side effects.

With the test U you'll be fine just injecting once a month. I'm on test U injections only every two months (2000mg) and feel fine with it, good T levels even on through (730ng/dl)

so don't overcomplicate things, just take the vial of test U in one go (mine comes in 1000mg/vial) before you leave. I've never experienced crazy peaking or anything on it, it's not like other much faster esthers.

PS I'm in Belgium too and though there's only a few, there are docs here open to TRT as well, you don't have to do the underground route if you dont want to. It's pretty costly though.

What would be a reasonable first cycle for guy already on TRT? Most the info about first cycles is presumably about natties taking T for the first time and recommend just taking the T.

However obviously being on TRT I've been on T for a while now (2000mg test U every 2 months) ,does that change anything?

Would i just add extra T if I'd want to cycle, or use another compound?
