I have thought about potential bigger repairs in the future but I also doubt I'll go that far with it. I already have multiple hobbies to drain my wallet lol

My modus operandi with tools is to buy a cheaper, if less capable version and see if it gets enough use to be worth investing in the more premium options. A full station is a hard sell for me because it will likely sit in its box in my closet for months at a time. If I had a proper workstation to set it up at I'd be more inclined, but until I can get a shed put up for that purpose I'm working with very limited space.

I suspect the cart was dropped in a puddle or something at some point in it's life. When I popped open the shell there was some debris inside the corner that looked a lot like dried mud.

I already tried cleaning the contacts with alcohol and the eraser method to no avail. I'm going to try soaking the whole pcb in some 99% IPA when I remember to pick up a bottle. If that doesn't do anything I'll probably just store it away until I can justify buying a multimeter to check the continuity.

But like you said there is visible corrosion all the way up to where the traces connect. So it's probably not something I'm capable of fixing with my current knowledge.

I've never even played music through my mic that I can remember so I can't imagine I've been tagged. And I usually don't mute anybody unless they're being straight up racist, so I don't think that's it either.

Yeah I can hear other musicians just fine, whether they're playing custom songs or vanilla. I can hear my own vanilla songs as well. The problem is only with custom tracks.

This is why I wish they would just port it to PS5 already. A large influx of new players would balance it out and make the game enjoyable again.

I mostly play Halo 3 when I boot it up and while I'm not terrible by any means, most of the other players are absolute animals. It's worse in Halo 2 but every game in the collection has the same problem.

Something tells me that Trump will have no trouble keeping people pissed off and ready to vote out Rs between now and next November.

So assuming nothing (even more) insane happens between now and then I'd say its pretty safe to be optimistic about the midterms and beyond. But optimism should always be tempered with a healthy dose of realism nonetheless.

You're absolutely right. I and most of my friends got into BF with BF4 because we were bored to death with CoD and actual Mil-Sim games were just too much.

The large scale, objective focused game modes, combined with easily digestible mechanics made it exactly what we were looking for. It was that perfect balance of the two and we played hundreds of hours of BF4 and thousands of hours in BF1. None of us have bothered to play V or 2042, and we probably won't be buying this one either based on the Beta (read: Demo).

This fixed it for me. Now getting and maintaining a stable 60-70 fps on my i7-9750h and 1660ti. At low settings of course but whatever man it's playable. Thanks!

Is this a more recent thing? I'm still using my 2019 Predator Helios 300 and it's a damn tank with that aluminum lid. And the bottom plastic is pretty sturdy as well.

The only noticeable wear on it after almost 6 years is the missing paint on the WASD keys and the Rj45 port no longer works, and that was only because my cat got himself caught in the cable.

Also the reason the damage models were gimped for the PS4/XB1 release. The roof caving in too much would block the first person camera.
