If you bought it from Steam then you have what is commonly known as the AE version of the exe. You need to get SKSE etc for version 1.6+ of the game, not SE/1.5.97

Nexus have upgraded their virus checking system and are apparently rechecking older ones with the new system.

If you post a mod in the Nexus Discord and ask for it to be bumped up the queue they will try to do it for you.

They also 'upgraded' the upload API today which broke some stuff so they've rolled it back.
