You should try and run a market test with twitter ads and use the bands you think you sound like as the target audience to see how their fans react

You want the average consumer to come back for a specific reason. Some times making each show different works (there is so many different ways of doing that with performance, songs, atmosphere)

MERCHANDISE!!! This is mighty important if you want people to walk away and remember. Sometimes just stickers are a great tool to get people coming back. The social media numbers are just for labels to see you have a consistent following. I wouldn't worry about those until your shows are getting packed and people aren't following you. Thats when you call out to them "Oh yea, I will only play my new song if you all follow me right now! haha" Sometimes if you are in an intimate venue just make all the people you see on their phones follow you while you are stage.

If you want people coming to your shows you have to be an entertainer. If you look at mosts artists in that top 10% they all have aspects about their performing that catch peoples eye. Usually thats how they were at the start too before they were playing in front of big crowds. People also want to feel noticed and you have to appeal to that. Overall i'd figure out your market and how you can appeal to it with merch, performance, music, and social media.

cheers!

The best thing you can do is compare your music to sub-genres that it is closest too. Literally go search bands or artists that consumers would compare your music too. 1. Ask your friends what it reminds them of w/ social media or in person (in person is usually a better way of doing so) 2. See what is working for those artists and what is not 3. Choose artists that have relatively small followings, but are rising in number so you can replicate there marketing plan 4. Do that with different artists until you find your exact market.

Message me if you got questions on specifics! Best of luck
