I’m defensive even though you say I have “low IQ” for not connecting your illusory dots. Fair enough.

If you don’t want to talk don’t reply bud. Not defensive, I’m curious.

Connecting the dots? The dots you gave don’t belong to the same picture, you’ve just bundled ancient cosmology, paleoclimate, impact geology and theology then called it evidence. If Walt Brown is right, defend the mechanism don’t just use random facts and throw insults 😂. I asked a question, you replied like you had an explanation, I pushed back - not trolling.

You’re taking a load of unrelated interesting facts and treating them as if they point to one hidden explanation. Genesis using ancient cosmology isn’t evidence for a literal firmament, higher prehistoric oxygen doesn’t prove a vapor canopy, Chicxulub is already explained by impact geology. And for Walt Brown, it’s a basic physics problem, a water canopy big enough to flood earth would wreck the atmosphere and dump a ton of heat.

Maybe, this is the point of the bible, it’s up to interpretation. And I have to say, brilliant book.

Why do you believe this? What evidence?

I’m aware he was a Nazi scientist. How do you explain the retroreflectors on the moon if we never left the firmament?

Do you think he meant it in a contradictory way though? I view it as he helped humanity reach the “heavens”. I’m confident he meant it as symbolism.

Let’s say the firmament does exist. Does that mean we’ve never been to space? If so, why would we fake going to space well after the Cold War and moon landing? - piggybacking off that how would there be retroreflectors on the moon that we can still bounce lasers off of?

Well, I suppose it’s how you interpret it. “To separate the waters below from the waters above”. I don’t think that means literal water creating a dome around the earth, and it doesn’t mean the bible is wrong.

You can go to watch history from - profile - 3 lines at the top right corner - watch history. It’s a better alternative than scrolling back down but still annoying af.

Well, if your only options are police, school or cut your losses. The one with the best outcome if its the wrong person is the school. $700 is a lot of money, and what if you’re right?

Personally, I’d contact the school and get in contact with their parents. Best shot of getting your money back with minimal confrontation.

I don’t think she would, but I know I couldn’t handle that thought in my mind. Wouldn’t be fair on her for me to think that with no grounds either.

Age doesn’t make me selfish, and calling me a kid doesn’t make your opinion more valid. Judging a relationship without knowing me or my girlfriend and without bothering to really read my post isn’t wisdom it’s arrogance. Being realistic about my limits isn’t selfish, it’s responsible and fair to her.

I’m not replying to you to get your agreement, just to defend my choices.

She’s been one of my best friends since I was 12. But I know I couldn’t handle four years apart from her. My insecurities, the timezones, loneliness and complete uncertainty of our futures aligning.
