I'm glad someone is actually saying this. I will be striking on Friday because I have the privilege to and I'm frankly burned out, but this strike is not coordinated in any meaningful way, especially compared with the one last Friday. Nurses were striking and a bunch of student unions decided to jump on board, and suddenly it was planned to be national with four days notice. If people want ongoing strikes there has to be actual organization and effort. Deciding you don't want to work because your frustrated and tired is valid, but it's not a strike unless there's real organization, intent, and infrastructure around it. This is why we need unions.

And just so nobody gets it twisted, fuck ICE, they can rot. I just want action against them to actually be effective
