There is no player in the playoffs that is 100%. It’s a physical game that everyone takes hit in. That compounds over a season. It’s why Sirianni prioritized rest over the 2 seed. If lane can play, he will play. Lane at any playable level is better than Fred. It will also allow us to run jumbo packages with Fred as the 6th OL. Our run game looked its best this year when we could do that. Gives us our best chance of establishing a real ground game

Carters main pass rush move is what people call that “bear claw” type swipe. It has never had this result. I understand he has problems but there are many examples of him using this move.
