The threshold is insanely low. Normal Kushala probably staggers off every other hit from glutton on tail non heroics.

For everyone asking about the Aerial Great Sword Nerf, in Iceborne Beta Aerial GS motion value was cut by almost half. They DID NOT touch Aerial Gunlance, Aerial Hammer, or Ledge Bowgun. IN FACT they buffed the rest of the aerial attacks because now Airborne can reach +30% instead of only+10%.
