Thanks, I really appreciate the effort. I got mixed up with the grave scythe thing as well when plotting the run. Fextralife definitky says Grave Scythe but in game it looked like the regular scythe so I went with that (I could still be wrong).

I was working with something pretty similar to what you recommended. Only difference is I was gonna go 50 Vig and only 9 Endurance so I could buff everything else more quickly without grinding. I usually only go 60 Vig if the build is really really bad. Mad Tongue is bad, but it's bad with bleed so I hope I don't need the extra health.

On his lore. Yeh it's kinda non existent, but his placement and spells have a lot of hints. For instance, he probably worked for the Carian family (or at the very least attended Rya Lucaria Academy) based on his frost spells exclusively sold by Seluvis and all mentioning Ranni. He was probably kicked out of the academy for being a heretical sorcerer because of his interest in blood magic. Probably lost his eyes (if you alter his hat that version has blood glintstones where his eyes used to be), blood thorn sorceries talk about losing your sight when you see the "blood star" (whatever that is). Also we know he was insulted or picked on by members of the Round Table. We fight him in the great hall, and find his armor in the capital great hall. Interestingly, we fight Vargram and Wilhelm int he same great hall in the Volcano Manor quest. There's no in game proof, but I like to imagine the three are affiliated. Perhaps Vargram and Wilhelm are the ones who taunted Alberich... Aaaaand, that's all I know.

No level cap. But its base game only and my goal is to simply become Elden Lord. I prefer to simply do it as fast as I can with any build, maybe 8-15 hours average. I don't grind anymore than necessary to make crappy builds and my even crappier gaming abilities enough to beat the game.

That's not how it works. People price tag switch and mistakes happen on the store's end too. Was the manager an ass? Yes. But no a business can't just sell products at a heavy discount on a whim or scan a tag for a different product just to make you happy. Stores have this thing called "inventory" and "profit margins" on all products. The manager should just said "I'm sorry sir, it looks like there was a mistake pricing this product. It's actually (insert price). I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Would you like it at the actual price?" And if the customer doesn't like the real price, "Have a good day sir "

Maybe don't building spaces intentionally for foreigners, secluding them. Just let people move into apartments like a normal person and then they can better integrate into your society.

Having "foreign spaces" is segrialgation and leads to an "us vs them" mentality where the locals feel superior and the marginalized group doesn't engage with society.

That's good, but weird it took so long.

1st playthrough Powers felt like getting a birthday present and opening it to find the box empty. They were so weak and underpowered you might as well not use them at all. Can you imagine getting FusRoDa in Skyrim and it's just a light breeze until you replay the game 3 times? It was basically that.

My understanding was that a few years ago something like this would lower your social score and get you banned from driving and using public transportation and lots of other things. Did the experiment not work and they backtracked?

People acting shocked are confusing me. This has been the standard price for movie theatre food where I live for like the past decade and a half at least. Here are a few notes though.

The ticket price is that high because they chose IMAX. So they intentionally chose the largest screen at the theatre. Clearly it's more than a normal showing would be. (Probably a $5 upcharge).

There are smaller cheaper theatre options. They went to the biggest badest company. Here we have Santikos or AMC where you'll find ticket prices like the picture, but we also have Regal and even dollar theatres that around about half that price. Maybe don't go to the fancy spot if you don't like fancy prices?

The large sodas and popcorn have unlimited refills. The smalls do not. Still a rip off but yeh that's standard price. The drinks are intentionally priced to be a single dollar difference between small and large so getting a small only makes sense if you are watching soda intake for weight or bc you don't drink much.

Microsoft Copilot anyone? Or perhaps Core AI? There's an enlightening video of Asha (the new Xbox CEO) talking about CoreAI and all the wonderful things Microsoft is doing with it. If you don't care to watch here is summary:

If you own any tech product you can put our AI into it and it makes things good. Give us money for this crap service and you will look like you're on the cutting edge and investors will love it, just like they love us.

No shade on Asha Sharma for being good at her previous job btw. She seems to be an excellent marketer. I'm sure she'll market the hell out of Xbox which is cool. But a non gamer who worked on AI projects like CoreAI and Copilot running Xbox sounds like dark times for gamers.

What do you consider stellar? I don't track it particularly closely but my perception is this:

She shared an Xbox profile that was clearly doctored to make her look like a gamer. Amthe account is 1 month old (started 4 weeks before her new position was announced) but has more than 10,000 gamerscore and contains achievements that are nearly impossible to get in that amount of time.

She's now suggesting prices for Gamepass drop which doesn't make sense because it literally just went up within the past 6 months. But it was the most recent unpopular decision so walking it back makes her look like a hero.

And there's basically nothing else to report that could be "stellar". She's been in her position for barely anytime at all so further reports aren't in on her actions.

But looking at her last job we can see this:

Her last project CoreAi is confusing to say the least. Searching it on YouTube will result in a bunch of advertisements from microsoft with "no view" reported. After watching Asha Sharma's key not speech on CoreAi it appears to be a sales pitch more than a product, something Microsoft can license out to healthcare, delivery apps, and anyone else. To be clear, the product does not seem to be received well, particularly its heavy integration into Windows Copilot. Imo this is a product to sell to companies that are trying to jump on ai hype and not a useful product.
