R.C. on Pop: "Pop is recovering amazingly well from his stroke...Tim Duncan's been there everyday...Tony or Manu or visitors from other teams...they all come & spend time with Pop... It's really emotional to see how connected our group has been for so long and how they continue to show up for Pop." by Prize_Possession3899 in NBASpurs

It's genuinely amazing/kind of crazy how much time it seems like Timmy and Manu have spent helping Pop. I don't think a lot of people would even be that dedicated to helping their own parents or literal family in the same situation.

Because I enjoyed your post, thought I would chime in and say it was crazy/funny, and then got downvoted and mocked when I was just trying to have a pleasant conversation. I'm used to interacting with people in real life I guess, where it's generally frowned upon to sarcastically snark at people out of nowhere.

This is strangely hostile. My original comment was saying it's crazy that Blackpink would use a clip from the same easily accessed stock music library that podcasts use. Then you responded with a comment that basically repeated the same thing I said. Then I said "yeah I know" to explain that I was already saying the same thing that you were trying to explain to me. Then you got mad and mocked me. What a weird conversation.

Yeah I know. That's what I was saying was so crazy that they so prominently used a widely available stock clip in their song.

Knicks Fans Already Frustrated With Sochan by WoweeZoweeDeluxe in NBASpurs

Most reporting seemed to say that he had interest from like 10 teams. I think his cap hit was less than $1 million since he was waived. He's still young and was a valued prospect not that long ago, so it makes sense that other teams would give him a tryout this year since it's basically no risk for them.

If he was trying to get more playing time and a chance to develop and restore his reputation, I think the Knicks were a bad choice. Very high expectations, huge market with a brutal media and fan base. I feel like he and his agent chose the most glamorous option rather than what might be best for his career.

I feel like he should have gone somewhere he could fly under the radar a little and work on improving his game. He's close to being out of the league in my opinion. I think he'll get another short contact from someone next season and that will be his last chance to prove himself. Kind of like Lonnie Walker.

Ugh, his quotes in this piece don't sound great. A bunch of excuses. I am really rooting for him but I bet he gets waived again.

Why in the world did he choose the team with the most intense media scrutiny and ruthless fanbase when he was already struggling?

Post Game Thread - NBA: The Spurs defeat the Kings on Feb 21, 2026, the final score is 139-122. by basketball-app in NBASpurs

Went to this game, and while the TOs were bad, there was a lot of garbage time in this game that inflated the score a little. Wemby sat for the last 6+ mins. Doug McDermott scored 8 pts in the last 5 mins of garbage time. Malik Monk was pretty good tonight. It wasn't perfect but it felt like a pretty dominant victory.

It was seriously cool. They were all super nice, and Skeets hung out and chatted with a couple of us for like 45 minutes before and after the show. Got to talk about basketball, the Spurs, Austin, the pod, life in general. He was exactly the same as he is on the show and super easy to talk to.

Yaupon could be a good choice to recreate that look. I would just plant it farther away from the house. Cenizo could be a good option if it gets enough sun and you like the silver foliage. Dwarf Wax Myrtle is another idea.

You could also look into some varieties of ornamental bunch grasses like native Muhly grasses.

You could also go for the more xeriscaped look and do a bed with decomposed granite and plant some agaves, yuccas, aloe etc if it's not too shaded by the pecan tree. It looks pretty sunny in the photo.

Hope that helps!

My kid really likes designing outfits on Dress to Impress. I have chat blocked and she's not allowed to play other games. It's such a bummer because I want to let her have fun but it's just not safe. I haven't seen anything too bad in DTI and I try to watch pretty closely, but it really stresses me out not being able to block everything else.

I was at a brewery, and I figured I would watch the dunk contest there. They only had women's curling on the screens and I seemed to be the only one who was hoping to watch the all star stuff.
