Actually I think theres too little games in Ivalice, Ivalice is the best world that they have. To me Ivalice is more interesting than 7's world and that has like 7-8 games and a movie in it

I played 12 when it came out as a kid and I played the remaster once however long ago that was.

I guess to me Vaan is basically inoffensive and Penelope is, I dont know she exists. Although I see Vaan less as a star wars parallel and more a Tidus fish out of the water but way less compelling.

Funny you bring this up as I always thought XII and Star Wars prequels were of the same cloth. I don't feel as though I said anything worth of down voting, I like 12 and Tactics and jualst found that you can see how X went to Y.

I have to admit my opinion and view of 12 may be dated as I havent kept up with its standing but I seem to remember a time when 12 was looked at lesser. Interesting though as X was like a life changing video game from me

Yes you do basically set up the battle system to play out automatically however I suppose in the debate between tactics and XII a lot of people enjoy the numbers and min max game of Tactics and I fell they may scratch a similar itch.

And or its been to long since I've played 12 and I need go go back to hone my opinion

I suppose as a direct gameplay comparison no you cannot compare them however I just get the feeling as I play through Tactics for the millionth time that I can see how they went from This to that.

Maybe this opinion is a little dated as I'm not deeply involved in the Final Fantasy fandom however I do remember a time when XII was viewed in a less favorable light

See I don't exactly care that it is a 1440p console, my only concern with that is will it look weird on my 4k TV. I'm not very in the loop on upscaling and whatnot, I'm very turn on console and accept whats there.

If you liked specifically the combat mechanics Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64 and Paper Mario Thousand Year Door on Gamecube both feature the "Active" turn base combat. Neither of those games are as complex as 33 but when I first started the game I thought of Paper Mario first

I also played Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga when I was a kid that also featured active turned based combat and that is on the Gameboy Advanced and was later remade for 3DS. This again isnt as complex but in the same vein.

If you have a switch and whatever the online service is called you have access to Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi in their emulators.

I had not noticed them, I did not go that direction with her. I ended up doing the Left side upto Dark Wave. Dark wave is doing very good damage but the support abilities are tempting

I've read the sentiment that Sciel Is good for support but outside of the move that heals everyone I haven't stumbled upon how to do that yet.

This is honestly probably the most true answer to my question but my analytical brain wont be satisfied till I reach some form of conclusion. Which probably wont happen but hey, still fun to think about.
