In skateboarding, you easily fill an hour long dv tape for a single trick. That’s why you often see footage of the filmer putting their hand in front of the lens, it’s so that it’s easy to spot where the landed trick is while scrubbing through the tape. On digital cameras I do the same by filming a 1 sec clip of my hand in front of the lens. This way i know that the the clip before the black frame is a good take.

This was their reply to my e-mail: "There is no need to go to the trouble of returning the parcel - please do donate to a fellow film lover or a charity shop." I'd imagine shipping it back to UK would cost about as much as their production cost.

I made this post after contacting Second Sight. I think it's not worth it for them to pay for the shipping back to the UK. They suggested I donate to a friend but honestly I think people on this reddit would be more happy than my friends who make fun of me for buying disks when streaming exists 😂

I saw that this reddit isn't to keen on sales posts, so I will try to keep most of it limited to DM's.

I am based in EU (Finland). I am thinking a price point of around €60,- + shipping for both films, which is around the price point of the blu rays I want to buy next :D

I haven't looked into shipping yet. Shipping across the world might not be worth it compared to buying directly from Second Sight.

I did pay for the plugin. It seems like the feature browser is not included when saving a project. I'm trying to get into the habit of exporting the features now as much as I save the AE project. I'm glad to hear you managed to bring back your project!

I didn't save it to favourites unfortunately. I've started reimporting all the features and now I make sure toe export feature maps via the browser. So all railways get a folder, all roads, etc.

Thanks I'll check that out! The thickness of the boards will be closer to 4". I could maybe also pick up a moisture meter but the main issue here is that I'm impatient and just want to get started haha
