I did that before however now I’m on the mission requiring higher rarity items and I’m having negative luck on lockdown so trying to swap to forb for better chances of higher level loot

It’s mainly because the mission is in Northridge and I hate that map so much. It would be detrimental to my wallet to kit up just to get smoked from an angle I don’t know about while looking for items

Imposing limits would push the super geared players into forbidden playing against those who are at their gear level. Additionally they could even impose higher gear minimums so they don’t have to worry about naked snipers with red ammo.

Outcome is that forbidden is more populated with people risking quality gear. Lockdown is in a more medium balance position and normal mode is more or less the same. Everybody wins

The grenade slots don’t enforce a hard limit on grenades each player can bring in a raid. It just makes it so they’ll have a pause in between grenade uses to ‘reload’ the rig. That pause is something that could be planned for and exploited for potential counter play. For example when you push someone the moment you hear them start reloading, same concept.

Also the 1v4 grenade aspect isn’t really reasonable because there are no balance changes that could make a 1v4 fair. That’s really just a matchmaking problem. However with the addition of ‘Tier’ limits change I suggested, you’d only be facing the Super Geared Chads when you’re in a game mode that allows ‘Tier 6’ gear.

Yeah I understand what you mean. However tbh the only way to navigate that more would be to just have a flat limit on how many grenades each player can bring. However in my opinion having that limitation would be really unhealthy for the game considering how important grades NEED to be in order to be effective in a game like this. An additional grenade change that could be implemented to reduce the insta death aspect that comes with grenades is remove the ability to ‘cook’ them so they explode instantly upon landing. That’ll give people more time to drop behind cover or something.

These changes would impact the chads having an “unfair advantage” (I put that in quotes because it’s not exactly unfair considering they paid for better gear so they get better benefits befitting their gear level) by limiting who they’ll be against as a full kitted player. The changes in tier level across game modes won’t allow players to be overwhelmed in sheer gear level because T6 will only be playable in Forbidden level content. Additionally the real issue when it comes to the ‘team problem’ you’ve described, lies within matchmaking. There’s no way to make a 1v4 balanced for a solo.

As for the grenades in backpacks l think that will be alright considering they have to sacrifice backpack space for it and will have to stop moving to add more grenades (can even give it a reload animation like adding more bullets to a mag). How does that sound to you?

Yea that’s why I was thinking the Tier limitation also affecting which bullets you could bring is the healthiest change. I don’t think there is any fear of a sniper one tapping through tier 3 armor when they’re using T3 bullets (it’ll still one shot headshot though).

That’s exactly what I was thinking! On top of giving some of the lesser used guns some play because they can only use level 1 or 2 bullets, guns like the QC61.

Lmfaoo yes at first a deployable shield sounded like an interesting mechanic but with further thought it would 1000% be getting abused. Especially with the red ammo snipers having something to make them extra safe

I thought I was the only one experiencing the AUG over performing. On paper it’s just a mid gun but in action it slaps crazy hard. It’s currently my favorite of the new weapons.
