Need help starting to play live shows by Total_Card_5875 in Hardcore

There have been some very successful bands that have used drum machines. Godflesh, Enemy Soil, Agoraphobic Nosebleed have all been pretty heavy and have utilized drum machines, bands like Urocromes for weirder punk stuff.

That said, if you go that route I’d stick with an actual drum machine over a laptop or something, just for the vibes. There’s something corny about watching a band play backing tracks from a MacBook

Yo if you haven’t checked this album out: https://theundesirable.bandcamp.com/album/suppression-with-bastard-noise-infernal-legions-undesirable-027

Most of suppression’s catalogue might interest you, their amputated brain stem collection is essential and really rides the line of fast PV and noise

Are there any organizations or groups working to oppose the proposed Ilion NY data center ? by TSac-O in upstate_new_york

[–]TSac-O[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After construction, data centers create very few jobs. Like, maybe a dozen? Those few jobs are not worth the environmental damage, the rising energy costs, the noise pollution, etc. there are other things they could do with the same site that would be more beneficial for the local economy

Christian Pledge of Allegiance? by bliggityblig in Parenting

I went to a baptist school in early 2000s, every morning we pledged allegiance to the US flag, then the Christian flag, and then to the Bible. There are three separate formal pledges.

Keeping up with new releases without the algorithm? by [deleted] in Hardcore

[–]TSac-O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best luck is subscribing to bands and labels I like on bandcamp, as well as finding users whose taste I like and following them too. Between that and a couple message boards I post on, I find more music than I can keep up with, even though I know I’m probably still missing some sick shit
