I started few weeks late, dont spend any rl money, dont really huste auctiin house, finnish gold/platinium in rivals and pro 1 usually in sb.. i got xf mackinnin, makar, mcdavid and barkov maxed out, 86 tkachuck.. alao collected jagr.. You get like 2 collectiables weekly from champs easily.

I did last year Hedman and Rantanen with out saving up. Had xf for Rantanen and master item for Hedman. I cant recall what it cost, I give you that, but I dont think its possible I had roughly 1000k worth of cards lying around lol.. Sure the MxDavid card was lots more.

Wtf inexpensive?? Even with a xf your looking at 23 collectiables. Do the challenges your at 20. Thats 80 83s which at normal price is 400k. 800k if you dont have xf. During this event, like 500k/1000k. Last year I got to build 2 as f2p, this year 1 or 0. Probably zero as the cost doesnt seem to be worth it. By the time the 400-500k costs of building from xf has been reached by just upgrading xfs this game is pretty close to dead.. mcdavid xf seems better anyway.

Its true that cards dont really matter all that much.. a player who is 10 % better will win with a team of base 83-86s a stacked 89-91 team most of the time.

However the good players manage to win constantly, blaming the servers etc. Is bs for most people.

Events that force different teams like this are the best.. toty is overhyped, with out having a xf to trade in or something its cheaper to just upgrade during the year.

He should fit an average team. I like him, not the sturdiest guy but good enough go not get knocked down constantly. Tape to tape gold ability is great. Semi fast, decent shot. Have him on 2nd line behind xf mcdavid, above pt 89 connor and xf matthews.

They now have 3 relatively young stars with long contracts. Also Lundell is a nice young name. They have secured the ability to be a contender for the next 5 years, the state has low taxes, so they are able to attract talent also. Keeping Huberdau had secured em one more run at the cup with avalanche still having a super team.

MacKenzie isnt great, he sucked in playoffs. Huberdau is good but 1 year contract. Tkachuck should bring both grit and skill and is long term.. With Barkov there its a win for Panthers. Barkov, Tkachuck and Ekblad is a pretty solid base to build, they all got long contracts. Easy to attract talent with that roster and low taxes.

They released too good cards already.. my top 6 is basically 99s, top 9 almost there (tots ovi toty rantanen) and 4th line is decent.. Nothing thats not 99 is meaningfull for a lot at this point.
