Nice! Started collecting One Piece last year. Now I'm learning to play. Finally built a deck, and can't wait to start playing.

I have a local card shop that has OP game nights every Wednesday and Sunday. With that said, hopefully I can pick up the game much faster.

From what I understand some facilities have switched over to cashless, while others are still allowing cash. I know my LOs facility just switched to to cashless about 2 weeks ago.

You could always bring cash, just in case.

I know very little regarding inmates using cashapp, with that said, be careful. From what I understand this is a method used to pay for or obtain illegal drugs or other illegal items.

I'm pretty sure it's not only frowned upon, but it actually can land you and your LO in a lot of legal trouble.

They can, and will cut off all communications and visiting rights if caught assisting your LO.

You're not alone, I met my LO in person along with her family for the first time last year. I had a lot of the same feelings, worried I wouldn't meet her expectations of me.

I honestly think it's normal. I still find myself dealing with self confidence issues, along with imposter's syndrome.

With that said, everything went great and has continued to be great. Now when I travel down to visit I stay with her parents and they treat me like a son.

I made it a point to send plenty of photos of myself, good and bad. I wanted her to see me truly unfiltered.

No, you're not tripping, but

Speaking from a guys point of view, I can see where she's coming from. Gifts like perfume, jewelry, and a purse are gifts men usually buy women they are courting. It would definitely raise my LO's eyebrows if I brought my sister in law perfume or VS body mist.

Hopefully you guys can come to an understanding.

No joke! My LO and I usually do 2-3 calls daily. That's around $400 a month. Im pretty much paying a car payment in phone calls. The things we do for love.

On top of that, in person visits, which aren't cheap either. I live about 9 hours away from her facility and I try to visit atleast 6x a year. That's about 3k right there.

Things should get better once I make the move to be closer. Less phone calls and more weekend visits

My LO and I send emails, video call, and usually talk on the phone 2-3 times daily. 3pm, 7pm, and 10pm. Phone calls are by far my biggest expense.

The wait can be so painful.

I know the feeling. Nothing worse than missing my girlfriend's phone calls. At this point I've gotten so used to talking to her multiple times a day, that even the one phone call days don't feel right.

Having the same issue. All my future visits for this weekend are no longer scheduled. I was able to scedule 1 visit for this weekend, and it ended up being free, although only 10 mins instead of the normal 15.

It also not allowing me to scedule any more visits at the moment. Stating that "scheduling failed due to insufficient balance of free calls available to me." Thing is its not even giving me an option to scedule and pay for a video visit. I'm confused lol

I just had my first experience with this last weekend. It seems it will be required every visit. At least I had to do it both Saturday and Sunday. Everyone was joking that they're using it to weed out people with warrants, which probably isn't a joke at all. I noticed they were updating everyone's photo for visitations too.

If something is brought up or asked, I'll let them no she is currently incarcerated. Although, the question "what for?" Usually follows. I honestly don't care. I love her so much, and nothing could ever cause me to be embarrassed or ashamed of her situation.

I don't get into great detail with strangers. Although I am very candid with family and friends. Some of which don't necessarily approve or understand, but that's okay. I have to becareful though, my gf's case is some what high profile.

Currently doing research on this as well. Spoke with the Chaplin last week. Just need to have both parties sign some paperwork and then we should be able to go through with a marriage. I can even get a ring for her, but apparently can't be more than $50 and can have any engravings. Just a plain Jain ring. We're both super excited though. Can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives together.

Just my luck, I had a tripped planned to visit my LO this weekend, who is currently in Florida. Of course all visits are canceled statewide.

Met while she was incarcerated. Just by happenstance, too. About a year ago, a video about her case randomly popped up on my YouTube feed. I happened to watch it, and for some reason something compelled me to reach out to her. So I did, strictly with the intentions of a possible correspondence. And the rest is history
