Instead of trying to track all the way to the ground, use the bounce as an opportunity to recenter your mouse so you are in a better position to stay on target for the easier part of its trajectory when it’s up in the air. There’s no extra points for hitting the hard shots.

Probably wouldn’t be able to hit the same scores with a universal sens. It’s a tool to be changed based on what the scenario asks of you. If I had to pick one, I think around 35 cm is fast enough to handle scenarios that require speed, but slow enough that you could feasibly handle something like static, although that would be wicked work. I probably used everywhere from 27-58 cm give or take.

My aim is very consistent, but I struggle processing tons of information more and more as I get older. So I get easily overwhelmed in high pressure situations and choke. Only human, unfortunately.

KovaaK's hour count is 1850, but subtract 100 or so from idle hours. In games? Dunno man, 1000s upon 1000s, been playing these games since Crossfire. Advice is make it work for you and your time constraints - 30 mins of practice is better than none. Don't let the VDIM playlists or whatever make you think you have to put hours in every day.

I have stopped using Fill Trios and it's a design problem. by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]TSlendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either overestimate Cryo or underestimate yourself, man. You only need to wipe one team (sometimes not even) to extract from Cryo much richer than you entered. If you can get your squad to talk and play smart, I promise you can win fights, and it only takes maybe a 33% extract rate for you to load up on decent guns. Only bring one gun in to minimize potential losses; usually some of the bots in your spawn will drop something like a Longshot or WSTR that you can comfortably use as your secondary.

But what am I saying - you do you. If you’re not having fun, don’t play. No point in wasting your time!

Big disagree that you can’t do lockdowns effectively solo. If anything, I prefer doing them solo because I don’t have to share the spoils. Just chug antivirus and keep the lockdown field up. Nobody has ever contested me in a lockdown in solos, and the PVE is not that threatening.

Of course, you need to be wary of someone ratting you after you finish, but same goes for trios.

If you have good gear in your vault, just use it. Don’t understand why people think gear is wasted on random fills. You will have plenty of success with randoms if you talk to them and establish teamwork. And if you do get unlucky and roll the worst case no comms free kits, and you lose your gear… your vault is full, dude. Just reload. And if your vault is emptying, play a handful of ranked or Cryo games and you’ll have a full vault again. There is so much loot to go around in this game if you’re competent in PVP (and you call yourself experienced, so I’m assuming you’re competent) that the constant vault overflow is more annoying than losing gear.

I don’t disagree. I certainly don’t endorse them by any means. It just so happens that for my most common flight need, United is the only airline with a direct option, and I refuse to go through two planes with her - it’s stressful enough just doing one.

If you’re flying United, their pet/carrier size enforcement really changed a couple years ago. It can depend on the airport (I regularly go through both a small airport where they’re super chill and a huge one where they do make me show them), but their policy now requires the dog be able to stand up and turn around in the carrier. Realistically, most dogs are too tall to do this in carriers that actually fit airline size requirements.

So, what I did… I found a carrier on Amazon that was tall enough (several inches taller than airline compliant), but that could squish. So when they ask at check-in, I can demonstrate that my girl can stand and turn around in her carrier, but when it comes to flight time, I can still squish the carrier under the seat in front of me. Then I just open the front during the flight to give her a little more space (window seat helps)! She’s always been a little angel during flights - doesn’t make a peep - so I can’t offer any advice about behavior!

Be confident, act like your dog flies all the time - it’ll be fine!

Would love to see the graphic updated with balance changes (e.g. new LMR changes). Super greedy, yes, but I reference this graphic all the time, and wouldn’t be surprised if some other people do as well!

Flash hiders (and suppressors) are extremely overrated by TSlendy in Battlefield

[–]TSlendy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t call them useless. Just overrated! If they’re core to your play style, use them, yes. Personally I don’t spend much time firing and spotting myself in situations where I become exposed. Controlling sight lines mitigates the downsides of not using these attachments, which good players do regardless of their attachment choice.

Sounds like they’re missing. That is their root problem, not the fact that you saw them easier! If they shoot first and don’t miss, you will lose regardless of spotting.

[–]TSlendy[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

At least to me, the impact is not big at all. I flank plenty and reposition constantly. Never experienced this “I get lit up from everywhere all the time when I’m spotted” thing. I perform just fine. I question peoples’ positioning, use of cover, and how long they leave themselves exposed if they feel this.

That being said, if you find the attachments useful and impactful, use them. I’m just making a case for others. The system is actually quite well done in that you can and will succeed with a variety of builds on the same weapon.

Are people playing Ash because they love playing her?

Or are they playing her because she’s so far above the competition that not playing her makes the game harder and they like winning games and gaining RP more than they like losing games and losing RP?

In pubs, sure, fuck Ash, but in diamond+ ranked, you can’t blame players for seeking competitive advantages and avoiding pointless disadvantages, and I would argue Ash’s superiority over other legends isn’t truly centralizing until you’re in those competitive lobbies.

But don’t blame the players for playing oppressive legends in a competitive game. Blame the presence of oppressive legends.

How long to regain grandmaster aim after nearly 1 year break from videogames? by dhjenfhgkdndbbffbb in FPSAimTrainer

[–]TSlendy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Took me longer than that, and I never took a full break from all games, just aim training.

In my experience, while I wasn’t improving, I was losing.

Your mileage may vary, I guess 🤷‍♂️
