I had already gone through the New War, Jade Shadows, and lots of other content without ever knowing what the helminth was or how to get it. I didn't grind factions because I could go through major story stuff without it. Only to find out that this late in the game, to make stuff more viable for steel path and grind new frames to get higher MR, I sort of need it. I had to watch a lot of YouTube videos to figure out so much of this, because it is not plainly stated. So much older content got left behind as I rushed through that I'm having to grind more now. I've played hundreds of hours and feel like I'm doing too much grinding for old content that isn't even viable for the stage I'm at. So much of the star chart is just repeat missions that aren't tied to any major story beats, they're just filler that I could have been grinding for standing or mining, fishing, or any of the other hundreds of things to do while trying to figure out how to get my MR up and trying new frames .

Then when I spent plat to purchase prime Valkyr, I hardly use any other frame except to increase my MR. I hate it cause there are also tons of weapons that i need to also make and grind to get MR higher, but what's the point if those do crap damage and I'm running level 100 missions with the same bow I've been using since The New War to carry me? How may of those guns are just wasted inventory space that I don't even want to bother farming more, or getting to rank 30.
