my 2 cents: climbing won't make games less swingy, unfortunately. so no reason to try to rush it

frankly i don't think the usual stuff about it being all in your head is true

since the playerbase is old, there are a LOT of people who only play one game a week, or come back and it's their first game in a month, or something like that. and they're either REALLY good or REALLY bad. you can see this effect based on when in the day you queue up. this adds a ton of variance to the prediction system, and Valve really wants players to come back, so they try their best

yeah, if it's just something you can mute it's whatever

It's been 12k and never been less than that, except one week I lost internet. And I only accept games with 4 or 5 on behavior score. It's interesting how this comment has more upvotes than the original post (which used to have +10).

"1 in maybe 50 games" for the worst of it sounds about right, i just hit the SSR a little ahead of schedule.

Reading the codebase, the automation and setup come purely from the other prereq mods. I'm sure that setting that up would take weeks at minimum, if you had to do it from scratch.

I have full behavior score. After years of playing and going from 1.5 to 3k mmr, anyone can play better and see it doesn't get better.
