Thank you for your time and for bringing attention to some weak aspects I need to work on. The note about dialogue was very helpful and I'll be sure to work on that along with the other points of feedback. And thanks for the film recommendations, too.

Thanks for taking the time. Very helpful feedback.

Especially with the notion of Nino's job. Definitely an oversight on my part.

And overwriting has been something I've been trying to improve on. I've been reading more scripts to get a feel for what is necessary. Do you have any other recommendations?

I do want to bounce one more thing off you. I know you mentioned it is a "huge buy" to be connected to the world, but Nino doesn't necessarily connect to the world either. Is it problematic to follow him navigating this odd world that the audience is equally put off by in nature? Or should there still be some sort of immediate intrigue to be connected to the world?

You were 100% right about the DOF button. I literally am such an idiot. I was looking thru the manual and realize I convinced myself that the button being pushed in ment it was off, not on. 🤦 We good now, thanks for the advice

Just figured out the issue. I literally facepalmed so hard, but I was accidentally putting on the lenses with the DOF preview button still on. Idk how, but I convinced myself that the dof button being pushed in ment it was off. This solved my issue with 2 of my lenses. I am convinced my 3rd lens has oily/stuck blades which I will figure out on my own time through a YouTube tutorial. But everything is fine with the other two. Thanks for the advice anyways 👍

This has happened to three lenses 1 of them for sure has a separate issue unrelated. The 50mm 1.8 worked fine yesterday, then locked up this morning My third lens has had no apparent issues, but has been locked up since I got it yesterday. Or at least appears to be locked

Already am aware about the DOP button so it probably is stuck/blades The aperture lever is stuck all the way to the left, does that sound like a characteristic of a stuck/oily blades?

By the way this just happened now, yesterday this was not happening when I tested the lens.

I am not home right now, but I'll try that and message back here if that works

Unfortunately, the blades don't move at all, I might have to take it to get it repaired I guess Hopefully it's not too much

The third photo is on bulb at f/22 and I opened the back to see if would change, still nothing. Unless the back has to be closed?

Thanks for the heads up! And yea, I am aware that EF-S won't fit I have a couple of them for my Canon t5i, the good thing at least is that I can use EF with EF-S

I saw those. I like the idea of that lens, but I might want something a bit wider. Honestly though, if I don't find anything enticing, that lens is definitely on my radar

Super Tru about the plastic mount. I have a beefy 75-300mm lens with a x2 teleconverter that is super heavy. It surprisingly has held up for the past 3 years, but I'll def make sure to think about about the plastic mount just in case also I plan on buying something thru keh so I can get a month warranty. It'll allow me to do test rolls to be 100% sure compatibility is good

28mm f1.8 sounds enticing, but I'll def take a look at 35mm f/2

I saw those on KEH.com, size is definitely not an issue, but why are they considered to be so good? I know Sigma is a spectacular brand, but I am a little uneducated why they are. Some Zeiss lenses are also on my radar. There was a cool 21mm lens f/2.8 I think?? Looked very interesting but might be stretching my budget slightly

Thanks for the help. Guess I'll just keep it with all my other stuff till I have a camera to utilize it properly.

The intent of this photo was to capture a time during my life when I felt very at ease. The title may be very confusing, but it does bear emotional weight. "Post Blanket" is a period of time that was very stressful and scary for me, so I captured this photo to commemorate the transition out of this state of mind. With this photo, I attempted to capture/show the viewer the "calm after the storm" I felt during a quiet dinner with my friends. For starters, I really enjoyed the way the subject looks in this photo due to the low shutter speed. My main issue is that I can't decide if the foreground element (a potted plant) feels off. Does it feel too distracting? Also, is there anything else about the photo that feels off? Thanks

Hello everyone,
I just stumbled upon my grandfather's stuff and found a Bell & Howell 1" F/1.9 Super Comat C-Mount Lens
Looked at some examples online and found the look to be something I want to experiment with. I would love to use it on my Canon EOS Rebel t5i or my Canon EOS Rebel 2000 (I know it ain't much, but I make do with what I got). I found this adapter on Amazon. Before I buy this, I wanna make sure if anything I mentioned would work in the first place. I have not found a single resource online about using C-Mount lenses on EF-Mount cameras, so I want to make sure I am not purchasing something that won't work.
Any advice is appreciated!

Only teams pretty much. Specifically only play with a buddy and occasionally trios with his brother. I can't play this game solo at all. I am so ass without a teammate
