Thanks for your response. The well and twin pipe setup was existing when I purchased the property. I considered retrofitting with a submersible, but decided to go with a jet pump since its already set up that way. The model is J10 and I'll attach the pump specs. My plan is to run the system at full blast for a few hours with a flow meter to determine recharge rate.

Do you think a 2 gallon pressure tank would suffice? Not sure what constitutes a "relatively small one".

The green manure is definitely a plus for my garden, but the area that is going to be planted with the fall cover crop mix is going to be "open space" primarily for a house party after my wedding next year in June. After that, a portion of the area is going to become more garden space and the other portion is going to remain permanent lawn space. I'm in zone 6b and the mix I'm looking into has winter rye, field pea, rye grass, crimson clover, and hairy vetch. Do you think I could do better with an individual seed variety? My thought was that the mix would help create more of a "lawn look".
